Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: 824 Providence Rd, Apt A102, Secane, PA 19018
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour (Maximum: $17.00 per hour)
Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities at our Secane location. This role involves promoting independence, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals served.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household activities.
- Encourage skill development and promote independence.
- Implement individualized care plans and document progress.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and clean environment.
- Build positive relationships through effective communication and companionship.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and families as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
