About the Role:
Weโre looking for a caring and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one in-home assistance to a female client with Multiple Sclerosis. The client uses a wheelchair and recently completed rehab following a fall. She needs daily support with safe transfers, mobility, and light stretching exercises to promote comfort and independence.
Weโre looking for a caring and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one in-home assistance to a female client with Multiple Sclerosis. The client uses a wheelchair and recently completed rehab following a fall. She needs daily support with safe transfers, mobility, and light stretching exercises to promote comfort and independence.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with transfers (bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to commode, etc.)
- Support light range-of-motion and stretching exercises
- Provide personal care and mobility assistance
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support
Qualifications:
- Experience as a DSP, caregiver, or home health aide preferred
- Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility equipment
- Kind, patient, and reliable personality
- Must be punctual and have a strong work ethic
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM โ 5:00 PM
Pay Rate:
- $15/hour
