Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Caregiver/Companion to support a female client in Elkins Park, PA. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on assistance and supervision to ensure the client’s safety, comfort, and well-being.
The client uses a walker for mobility and has Alzheimer’s disease, requiring consistent supervision as she may wander and cannot be left alone.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with mobility and walking using a walker
- Provide supervision and ensure client safety at all times
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Bathing
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Provide medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, etc.)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
Requirements:
- Experience working with clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia preferred
- Must be patient, attentive, and dependable
- Ability to follow care plans and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and caregiving skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
