Join Our Team as a Community-Based Direct Support Professional!
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one community-based support to an individual in Fairless Hills, PA.
In this role, you will assist the client with daily living activities while promoting independence, community engagement, and overall well-being. A significant part of this position involves safely transporting the client to appointments, activities, and other community locations, so a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle are required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and community-based support.
- Assist with daily living activities based on the client's individual needs.
- Safely transport the client to appointments, errands, recreational activities, and other community destinations.
- Encourage independence, social interaction, and community participation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Ensure the client's safety, dignity, and well-being at all times.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (Required)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to safely transport a client in your personal vehicle
- Previous experience as a DSP, Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or in a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and patient
- Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings
